Bio
Olga Torrico is an Italian director and producer, originally from Casale di Carinola, in the province of Caserta, born in 1991. She lives and works in Bologna.
Training
He studied between Rome, Paris, Bologna and Valencia, graduating first in Languages and Literatures and then in Cinema and Multimedia Production, and then attending the Bottega Finzioni screenwriting school.
Sayonara Movies
In 2016 he founded, together with Adam Selo, the production company Sayonara Film, based in Bologna. The company deals with independent production and distribution, with a focus on short films and creative documentaries and a strong editorial identity linked to the relationship between reality and cinematic construction, and over the years has built a solid presence in the main international festivals, with works presented in Venice, Cannes, Locarno, Sundance and Clermont-Ferrand.

Filmography as a director
- Gas Station (2020) — his first short film, which he produced, wrote and directed, shot on 35mm film and made as part of Terre di Cinema in collaboration with the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia. It was presented and awarded at the 35th Venice Critics' Week and nominated for Best Short Film at the David di Donatello 2021, as well as being selected in over a hundred festivals and acquired by broadcasters such as Rai and France TV. - Chello 'ncuollo (2023) — short film that explores, in Caserta dialect, popular beliefs about the menstrual cycle in the rural world. It premiered at Alice nella Città, where it won the Rai Cinema Channel Award, and was nominated for the Nastri d'Argento 2024
Activity as a producer
Between 2018 and 2023 he produced the documentary "After the Bridge" by Rizzo and Toscano, presenting the project in several international markets, from IDFA in Amsterdam to Qumra in Doha, up to the world premiere at Hot Docs in Toronto.
