Synopsis

Ceriana is a village of 1200 inhabitants in the Ligurian hinterland, a few kilometers from Sanremo. Its inhabitants have a special talent: it is a village where everyone sings. A cult object for ethnomusicology researchers, Ceriana's songs have been recorded by Alan Lomax, Diego Carpitella, Roberto Leida and many others.

The film documents this passion through the voices of the protagonists of this community where singing preserves traditions and reveals an extraordinary cultural dynamism.
