Synopsis
CONTAINER, OBSERVATORY-MOBILE LABORATORY OF PUBLIC ART was a project curated by Gino Gianuizzi and Mili Romano, operating in the San Donato district of Bologna during the years 2007 and 2008 with artistic interventions born from the careful observation of the context and the anthropological fabric, from the relationships with the inhabitants and with the public of the street.
Mili Romano, in the dual role of curator and artist, using the video camera as a "relational goad", activator of communication and narratives, has made this documentary accompanying all the phases of the project, from the first explorations, from the first meetings with inhabitants, schools and associations, between the artists and the realities of the neighborhood, up to the realization of the installations and actions in the various areas.
Far from arousing an excited television-type protagonism, sometimes passing from hand to hand between artists, adolescents and the public itself, the video camera seemed here to vanish, to become a warm, affective and invisible object.
