Synopsis
Thanks to a research work that started from a photograph by Giuseppe Pezzini, a photographer from Malabergo, who portrayed all six of them in rice paddy clothes, Gina, Vilma, Teresa, Bruna, Gigina and Maria, a group of ex-mondariso who in the 40s worked in the rice fields of the triangle of San Pietro in Casale, found themselves. Bentivoglio and Malalbergo. They met in memory of their friendship and the struggles they fought together because, despite the hardness of the work that marked their existence, they still want to tell their stories and tell those values of which they are still bearers. Thus a piece of the history of our Region is reconstructed made up of solidarity, struggles, songs, tragic moments and joy, strength and determination of the women of the rice fields who, with their pledge of tears and blood, made a fundamental contribution to the affirmation of workers' rights in the twentieth century.
With the participation and testimony of the members of the choir of the Mondine di Bentivoglio
