Retracing and telling the story of the Romea-Nonantolana road, in the Modena section, that is, from Nonantola to the Passo della Croce Arcana (Fanano).
The project is a 100-minute documentary in which the "pilgrims' route" was told, including history, culture, traditions, nature and environment, sport and health.
The journey was divided into two stages: the first by bicycle (MTB), from Nonantola to Coscogno; the second part on foot (Coscogno-Passo della Croce Arcana).
The documentary aims in particular at the enhancement of the Romanesque in the Modena area, from the plains to the Apennines, with detailed profiles on the churches encountered along the way.
Not only that: the story was told through the places that are encountered while retracing the pilgrims' journey: for example, from the Castle of Vignola to
that of Sestola, from the metati (the chestnut dryers), to the majesties; from the round chimneys of Cà Pallai (Ospitale di Fanano), to the cars of the Righini museum (Panzano Castle).
Environment and nature are also in the foreground, with photography of the territory and the discovery of the animal and plant species that populate a long and diversified path: from the plains to the Apennines for 115 kilometers and a difference in height of over 1500 meters.
