The Mayor, the story of a utopia realized

The history, the human and political events of Giuseppe Dozza become an opportunity to turn a different look at the values of the Resistance; not only an armed struggle against Nazi-fascism, but a moment of development of ideas for a more just society that found their realizer in Dozza. A man who threw himself among the people and who knew how to listen to them, making himself understood, in a society materially and morally annihilated by war. But where has the driving force that made Bologna and Emilia-Romagna a unique model in Europe gone? A story, with the actor Ivano Marescotti, which unfolds over most of the last century, from the period in which those ideas were formed, passing from their full implementation, to the slow decay, in search of an answer to this question.
