The Indygroundfilm collective announces the creation of a new film on the theme of Health, which was also born thanks to the numerous screenings and debates that the very recent Mani sulla Sanità is arousing.
While cuts in hospital services continue to be made in several Italian municipalities, on 11 October a movement of Mayors was formed in Amatrice, in the province of Rieti, which is fighting against the closure of health services implemented by the Regional Councils of Apennine and insular Italy.
Called by Sergio Pirozzi, mayor of Amatrice, numerous administrators of the so-called 'Italia Minore' accepted the invitation and with them the Citizens' Committees, who will meet, on November 24th, to set up the 'Forgotten Municipalities' Association during a public assembly in Marciana, one of the eight municipalities of the Island of Elba.
This historical, social and political journey will be documented in the film Sindaci contro, made by Giuliano Bugani and Daniele Marzeddu, by the Indygroundfilm collective.
