The missing color

Synopsis

The color that is missing proposes an approach to the problem of muscular dystrophies through the point of view of people who live with this disease, stimulating a more conscious and concrete attention without indulging in easy pietism.

"Life cases" are presented without a medical-scientific slant, but relying above all on the stories of the protagonists (people with disabilities): their interests, their desires, their life projects are in fact completely "normal" and therefore understandable to everyone. The stories alternate with animations that illustrate the disease, its appearance, its evolution and the obvious social implications. The aim of the project is to inform and form awareness in civil society about the problem of Muscular Dystrophy, not so much and not only from a medical-scientific point of view , but rather from the point of view of people (people with disabilities and families) who live with this disease.
